I cannot play the game because I am not able to name the character to proceed. I am not receiving any error messages; I simply cannot submit the character name during the character creation. It’s as if the D-pad doesn’t register at all. I’ve tried different controllers. As a data point, I’ve also tried submitting system generated names, but still cannot submit any names. This is on the Nintendo Switch (creating an offline character).

I had this issue and finally realized that icon means to press the PLUS button not the D pad LOL!
