Cannot join any games after failing to join a game

When in the lobby, if you try to enter a game and either it doesn’t exist or it is full then every game you try to enter will give an error “An issue occurred while communicating with the game servers. Please check that you are connected to the internet and try again.” This even happens with solo online games you try to create outside the lobby. To be able to join an online game you have to reload D2R.

I have been having the same issue. The only way to play is to shutdown the game and log back in. Very annoying.

This happens to me to, every time. When doing baal runs, sometimes I try to join faster than the maker of the game, so the game doesn’t technically exist yet, and I get a message stating such. Then, no matter which game I try to join for a good 5-10 minutes after, I get the “issue occurred while communicating with the game servers”… even when trying to create my own private online game.

same issue, if i fail to join a game or sometimes when i leave a game and go to join another game, i get a system error. the only way i have discovered how to resolve this is by closing out of the game entirely and relaunching the game…

From what I have gathered, any attempt successful or not to join or create a game slams your account with an auto timer that prevents you from joining or creating another for 60 seconds.
This makes sense when some one is spam creating a game over and over to reduce server load, but lazy programing made it apply to a failed attempt to join a game that doesn’t exist.
I am not impressed at this team, their communication to their PAYING customers, the halfased fixes, and the slow time it takes to fix simple little things.

yeah that is very annoying but this is the “NEW” blizzard → no one cares about it…
