i upped Death’s Guard to a Demonhide Sash and i have been using it on my amazon (82). I created a new character and at level 24 (the level requirement) i have over 3x the strength requirement (20) for it, which is my base (no strength from items) but it wont equip.
It seems during the upgrade process the new level requirements aren’t calculated properly, meaning they are higher than described on screen.

any idea how i can find out what i need?
Equip it on a higher level char, than it’s displayed correctly.

got it … its changed from level 24 to level 29 same 20 str requirement

I’m so glad I found this thread. I did the exact same thing-- running a Holy Fire low lvl Paladin and I upgraded my Death’s Guard sash, suddenly I can’t put it on. I would’ve went insane. Luckily I’m lvl 28 so I don’t have to wait too long to fix my set bonuses.
I have the same problem with my Arctic belt, but with a twist - I am now level 29 and still can’t equip it. While other lvl 26 character can equip it. Also, equipping it on a 48 lvl character doesn’t show 29 (or 24) it shows 25 (as it should). Weird bugs.

This is still happening!! It is getting infuriating!! Also, equipping the item on a high level character does not seem to update the listed level requirement. I only had it update the listing when the character who equipped it had the exact same level as the actual requirement.
P.S.: Arctic Belt exceptional requires level 30.
