Cannot connect to battlenet on PS4

I cannot link to the server on PS4 in Diablo II remastered. I downloaded and installed the game, made sure that it was up to date and did the same for Diablo 3 and the console itself.

Diablo 3 has no issues connecting. Diablo 2 gives me a code to link my account and goes back to the prior screen regardless of which button I push. Pushing x does not take me to a Blizzard . com link.

The pS4 browser is working.

Try download Authenticator app on mobile or

  • Ensure your console account is linked to your Battle.net account
  • If this is your first time playing, make sure your order has a Complete status in your transaction history
  • If you want to play offline, make sure to connect to the online services at least once to validate your game

Thank you. The mobile authenticator isn’t a solution, but linking the accounts worked. Appreciate the help.
