When i trying to assign Mouse Wheel Up/Down i am getting small red Notification which say “Cannot Assign to Mouse Wheel”.
This came after the the last patch.
Now you want us to play with 2 hands? This is Just Ridiculous and need to be fixed!!!
I am playing with Hammerdin Paladin/Barbarian on WW and using Mouse Scroll for my both main skills Scroll Up for Tele and Scroll Down for Concertation/WW. Now i need to use F’s to cast skills and use Teleport or to use Mouse 3 and Mouse 4 button ( not bad but is useless compared to just use the scroll button )

I’m having this same issue since the latest patch. I cannot assign mouse wheel up or down to a skill keybinding.
Was this an intended change? I use the mouse wheel to bind skills frequently. I would love to see it restored to the way it was before patch 2.3. Thanks.

2.3 has stop me from playing d2r waiting for mouse wheel to be usable for skills again before i bother playing d2r anymore.

I found Solution but is Mouse Specific
I am plying with Razor Atheris
You need to Install Razor Synapse
Go to Customize Panel - Choosing Hypershift
Then Go to the Game Options - Keyboard - Assign non usedd Buttons from the Keyboard - i did “Z” and “X” Then Add this 2 as Teleport and WW for Example
The in Razer Synapse assign - Keyboard Function This two Keyboard Buttons on the Place of the Scroll Up/Down and now i am able to use Mouse Scroll for my Both Primary Skills
und when you show a website and scroll, you wrote everywere zxzxzxzx?

In D2:LoD you could bind SINGLE Skills to Mouse Wheel Up and Mouse Wheel Down:
I’m guessing you could do this in D2:R too, before the latest Patch.
But now, you CANNOT bind SINGLE Skills to the Mouse Wheel (Up or Down) in D2:R:
Even though this does not affect me, I believe it should be fixed.

I really don’t understand that move, I could already not assign something to mouseclick (mousewheel click), I got used to have only 4 skills on my mouse (wheel up, wheel down, mouse 4 and mouse 5) but now I only have 2 skills there! I mean, can you please at least explain me why you did this? the only reason seams to frustrate players who used it…
If you have a Logitech Mouse, you can try Logitech Options software or Logitech SetPoint Software, I could not do anything for the mouse wheel up or down, but I could do something for the wheel left, wheel right and mousewheel click.
Hope they fix the issue with themouse wheel up and down FAST!!
