Can y’all stop asking for stuff pls…

Blizzard gave up. They stopped caring, we don’t matter, not even enough for them to come here and say something, anything. They left, they stopped caring about d2 and stopped supporting it many seasons ago.

Do yourselves a favor, give it up. Go and share your precious time with another company that values your loyalty, time and money.

Blizzard stopped caring bout us, is time we stopped caring about them as well. Stop asking for changes and balance and content, they left……

Let people ask for changes. This is a forum, that’s what it’s for… Discussion of the game.

To those people that ask for changes: Keep in mind this game is a remaster. So if you’re one of those people that play subscription based games and like being showered with eternal changes/content, you probably aren’t going to like this game.

They gave up…. Ain’t no content being worked on, they don’t care about you and moved on. Stop caring as well, share your loyalty with another company that’ll treat you better and is better deserving of your time.

I’d rather the game stay true to the original as possible. Qol? Balance changes? Bug smashing? Sure. But they should strive to keep this game as close to the original as they can.

New content as in a new act? Absolutely not… That is their ultimate chance to screw the game up.

Sorry, but I don’t trust the Blizzard of now to add content to this game without turning it into some amalgamation of Diablo 3/4/Immortal.

Just saying…. This ppl gave up and every post is someone asking for stuff. Is sad, do ppl not get it, they left…. Or even decency to say so, they just left and is pointless to continue asking for stuff.

I’d be happy if the game worked…. Barbarian ww still garbage for years and mean while we got the atrocity mosaic sin is.

As I recall, they did say that updates would slow down.

There are theories on why updates to D2:R took a nosedive in frequency… Them working on D4mpsterfire post-release is the big one. Some say that D2:R was simply a gimmick to draw attention to the franchise in order to boost D4 sales, and now that D4 is out, they don’t care about the game anymore.

Personally I don’t think they’re done with D2:R just yet. They simply haven’t had the free time to do much with this game. They are a business after all, so they gotta keep makin that money, or “cost cutting measures” such as layoffs start happening. (Of course the board members and CEO are safe.)

No one knows how to accept and move on. Play d2r like you play chess.

I want balance changes thats all I ask for

Mosaic

If Mosaic is possible, everything is possible.

we are just lucky that they keep this running at this point. lol

Seems that way…. Better off giving your time to a company that didn’t give up, just saying…… loyalty is earned.

Asking for stuff sometimes works tho. Without complaining about D3 and Immortal we would probably never get D2R and D4 (I’m happy it has darker atmosphere again). D2R will get an unexpected update when they chill out with adding content to Immortal/D4.

dont worry things will settle now LE has a new cycle tomorrow itll get calmer here

this was a weird season. i got enigma/hoto/shako but couldnt get trang gloves/wartravellers/bk rings lol

oh well. teleporting was fun.

another one without ever seeing soj also. 24 years without seeing a natural soj. aint that something xD

*in about 24 hours it’ll be time to drop enigma hoto shako fortitude and pally torch in a fresh hardcore a1 game. probably in the den of evil. it’ll be pog.

yeah thats why it needs changes since the original was all about changes as well

there has been 1 expansion and like 20 patches during the span of 4 years after it release

When you say " the original" which version are you talking about cuz there has been so many… cuz change is part of the game

the best change they can make and its pretty easy for them…

just give us a tcpip private modded server option, even if its a paid feature

Diablo 2 survived all those years because of Mods

You above all others have absolutely no clue how the cycle of a “pay once, play forever” game works. You’d think after several years now that you’d get the hint that this game is a remaster, but you’re still as clueless as ever. Driving simple knowledge like this into your head is like driving a wax nail through an anvil. I don’t know, maybe you have some loose wiring upstairs making you think since WoW subscribers get endless updates, ALL games should get endless updates.

These buy once, play forever type of games get updates for a few years after their initial release, they may even get an expansion, then things quiet down. Pending the company is still around and the game hasn’t been abandoned, there may be a few stray patches here and there to keep things compatible with current systems, but that’s about it.

Go look how much we paid for D2:R compared to the original game + expansion (at MSRP), and adjust for inflation. D2:R was dirt cheap. We got what we paid for.

Now please, wake up, realize that your quest to change D2:R into some twisted version of the game that isn’t original is a pipe dream, and do something more productive with your life.

Eh, it’s more or less theoretical discussion. It’s for fun. Might as well.
