I have many people, including myself that are trying to figure out if Whirlwind can spawn on barb helms on D2R… There is zero evidence to support they exist at this point. Please advise?
combat skills like ww do not appear on barb helms. Only +to all, waycrys and masteries. The only time any combat skills show up is with charges and ww is not one of those either. There is only one way to get ww as an added skill, which happens to be a runeword in an assassin claw.
You can also get +WW (Barb Only) on Bloodletter, which if the OP is asking about Barb specific Helms then I’m assuming he doesn’t need it to be an “o-skill” like the Chaos claw, however there’s obviously an issue fitting a Bloodletter into end game builds!
OP if you want a WW buff in a barb helm I think your best bet would to find a Barb helm that has +1/2 to Barbarian Skill levels, which would buff WW that way.

I know certain skills like Berserk can appear on a barb helm, but it’s in some wonky and extremely rare way. WW might be the same, but idk. Basically, no. But maybe in a very rare and probably not worthwhile case, yes.
Ww has spawned on helms before I think it is really rare, best bet would be 3 combat or 2 barb with 2 sockets and life/fhr/visionary (attack rating per level) with extra mods like battle orders/shout/iron skin.
Super rare and if you find one that is arreats style, and white you have found the creme de la creme of rare barb helms. They fetch an enormous price for pvp duelers.
