As far as additional challenge, I could see a Monster Power type setting being a more realistic request⌠Bumps up health, damage and density of monsters, but no additional XP or drops. (per monster) The reward would be both the challenge, and potentially more drops in a given timeframe simply from the increased density. The player count effects on the monsters would still works like normal.

It wonât happen. They have twisted logic that says that less people will buy the game if they can always play solo.
If you want good groups D2JSP services tab has baal runs usually, and some discords run baal groups.

The ONLY reason people want /players 8 in battlenet is so they can get better no drop chances, thats the only single one little teeny tiny itty bitty wittle bittle plz o plz wiff cherys on top reason people want /players 8.
Every one wants that edge of getting better drops, every one, every single person does, because they would get more stuff. Just no. All that would happen is a community of people playing on battlenet solo only interacting to tradeâŚand that already exists in single player.
Just look up what an item is worth online, use hero editor, drop ur item, add the new item, and move on with life without affecting hundreds of thousands of other people.

Yes implement p8 and a legal blizzard bot. So the poor people with a job, family, kids, a dog, 3 cats, a grandma and friends donât have to fall behind. Itâs not fair that others have more time to play and engage other players.
I canât sacrifice my time for D2R but I should be 99 and have all endgame items after 2 weeks. But I can only play 2 hours on a weekend.

Nothing wrong with wanting more drops/ loots. Only people worried about items being devalued oppose it. Why would they oppose virtual items being not so scarce? [Your answer here reader].

Oh no god forbid you could get some time off the game and have to handle real life uhhhh.
Yes beeing fully equipped after few days sucks. But so does grinding for months with little reward. Reduce grind, not complexety!

Did you not know tedious grinding that even a bot codded 2 decades ago can easily do is a very challenging task?!
The horrors and challenge of doing a billion magic find runs against totally unchallenging monsters!!
The fact is even D3 combat is way more engaging and challenging than D2âs, so those people saying we want it easy like D3 are funny. Absolutely nothing is challenging in D2, and if someone finds it challenging I got bad news for themâŚ
how does that exist in a mode, you cannot trade in⌠try again.
Sorry but itâs the mentality of a child to want everything without putting in the time.
If you donât have the time but still expect to get everything, you might just have chosen the wrong game.
I know itâs hard to understand with that much entitlement in your life, but thatâs just a simple truth. There are plenty of games that better fit a busy life.

I too would like to see this. I have taken a long rest from playing D2R as I simply do not like playing with others as people can be quite ignorant. It would be nice to have the choice of playing on 8 player difficulty solo or with one other person.
Diablo II Resurrected is a video game not a job. Repeat after me please.
How so? They grew up with D2R and love it, but as a healthy adult that has a life they canât grind it as much? D2R is NOT D2 and the drop rates donât fit 2022.

Guys, itâs coming, and you know it. Either directly or in different way (which already happened with Terror Zones). Better drop rates, EXP, and more challenging areas are coming.
It is without a doubt and by far the most requested change, come on, figure it out. Itâs as easy as typing something like: âPlayer 8 d2r onlineâ in Google. It also has been asked since old D2 times.
Blizzard knows this very well, why else do you think Terror Zones are here? It answers the same things people want with /player x command although not as good (unless they drop player scaling altogether).
But hey, stay in denial and then cry how Blizzard and the whole Internet did you so wrong, and how you are such a victim. God, defeated purists are still being delusional.

/P8 cheat code is never coming to Battlenet. Blizzard was more than clear on this front. Even the image in the patch notes makes it clear: âKeep the core!!â
