Can some1 explain to me how am i supposed to play D2R?

Please some1 help me! Am i the only one that can’t play this game? im not happy about D2R. I can’t play like i want…

Step 1: Install the game
Step 2: Log in to the game
Step 3: Choose a class
Step 4: Choose the mode, hardcore, offline etc
Step 5: Choose a name
Step 6: Create the Character
Step 7: Make or join a game
Step 8: Talk to the people in Town
Step 9: Slot applicable skills before leaving town; Townportals, attack skills etc
Step 10: Start Quests
Step 11: Attack enemies
Step 12: Press alt or Left Button to look for items that dropped
Step 13: Equip items or identify item then equip them
Step 14: Continue the game until you are satisfied.
