Can I take back runes from a socketed item via recipe?

I made a mistake of making a rune word in a non rune word weapon? Can i take runes out with a recipe?

Throw the item + Hel rune + Scroll of TP into the cube.
NOTE; you dont reclaim the runes

Unfortunately you cannot remove the runes without destroying them.
