Can I get a refund - PS5?

All of my Battle.net characters appear to have been deleted this morning. I can connect to Battle.net, but they’re all gone.

Hoping it’s just yet another server issue, I went back to playing my online-supported game offline. Repeated random crashes and hours of lost progress there too.

Has anyone successfully obtained a refund for PS4/PS5? This is unplayable for me.

They will never answer you. Join my discussion a few threads down. Without a class-action court proceeding, we will never receive any recourse from blizzard.

Some guys won against Xbox for controller drift! We will win this fight if we all come together. The community is stronger than the game maker

Sometimes they will give 1 refund per account but you better hope the stars align.

Nope and i highly doubt anyone will get a refund.

Keep me informed, I will defenitly be part of that.

Servers are down your characters are not deleted

Is a refund all you guys really see here? Take a stand. Let all the world know this type of thing will lead to problems. The video game companies got us around their finger. Of we don’t do something, the gaming world will become Pay 2 Win.

Seriously, wouldn’t it be awesome if the modest d2LoD community was when video game giants started thinking twice about squeezing their consumer base for every cent they can. Just organize people, a person cannot be heard! People can make a difference.

I’m not on a crusade; I’d just like my money back on what’s clearly a defective product for me that’s unplayable. I’m hoping others are having better luck, but for whatever reason, this thing crashes and/or disconnects constantly on me. It’s Cyberpunk bad for me, and it’s only been getting worse with each passing day.

I’m putting in for a refund through PSN; it sounds like that’s a long shot, but I’ll try to post again letting others know how that turns out. IF my refund request is refused, THEN I’d consider legal action.

You characters are not deleted, they will appear when the server goes back up.

not completely true. I lost a 65 necro and was told i am sol.

We’ll see. Per my original post, I was connected to Battle.net and none of my characters were listed. Servers went down later.

Maybe I permanently lost my characters, maybe I didn’t. Doesn’t change the fact that I can’t play the game I bought in either online OR offline due to disconnects and crashes. So I’m proceeding with my refund request. Clearly I’m a D2 fan too, but this situation’s not excusable or defendable.

I think that the “update/maintenance” is really just a server crash. They reboot it, run quick tests. Amd open it back up. I’m not so sure they are actually implementing hot fixes during the downtime.

you under contract and have waived your “civil rights”. please educate yourselves and read you contracts. youd have better luck with small claim civil disputes…

They will never ever give any of dollars back, they got our money ( console players ) and now they focus to fix PC gamers problems.

My refund request to Sony was denied, as others suspected it would be.

If anyone’s getting a refund, it would be because Blizzard decided to make that happen - that given the sorry state of affairs right now for the console version, that that would be the smart PR move to prevent loss of future sales on this game and their future products.

Fat chance probably, but I know I’ll personally never give Blizzard another one of my dollars. Not because of the quality of their games, but because of their treatment of their customers. IF Blizzard issued refunds, my confidence would be restored, and I’d likely purchase this game again later (once it was actually ready for release) and again look forward to purchasing diablo 4.
