Can I create Leaf runewords with 2 sockets like eagle orbs based item

I have D2R for nintendo switch but it doesn’t let me post at sorceress forum.
I guess I just ask here:
Can I create Leaf runewords with 2 sockets like eagle orbs based item?
Since eagle orbs is one hand wand/staff it will free up my off hand for shield,

Anyone about this?

No, leaf can only be made in staves.

So the based items for leaf runewords is always fixed to staves only.
It can’t be put to other based item like sword with 2 sockets and etc.
Is that how runewords works? Only works with very specified based item only?
Like spirit runewords only works with sword and shield based items only and nothing else?

Yes that’s how it works. Make sure to always google the runeword, or check the diablo 2 wiki or any other site before making runewords, so you don’t waste your runes.
