implement a balanced loot system
You can easily run the countess and farm a few low runes and make some very good runewords for her. As simple as that.
I only play the game for the co-op
Doesn’t prevent you to run 3 or 4 countess runs. It’s such an easy and fast run and on the way to her you find good other stuff to equip. The item you need to make the runeword you can buy it in act 1 from the vendors.
If you only play co-op play with friends and help each other out with the loot, I wouldn’t play with randoms ^^
I can´t loot when I play multiplayer and multiplayer was the reasson I bought this game
Why not playing the game with friends then? You can also look for people to play with in forums like reddit or even here to find people that do not have this I pick up everything and keep everything for me mentality.
I wanna met new people and play with big groups of 8 players without having to waste a lot of time trying to get 2 or 3 friends at same time. I dont think I am asking for too much, just a balance in the loot system, it was a problem this game had, some classes have to stay away from combat and cant loot. They should improve this like they have done with the gold being taken by passing nearby
People are going to tell you to just play alone for loot, which is crappy. They need to implement an option for personal loot that doesn’t change drop rates for people that want it.
And that’s why I said check out the countless forums for people, it takes much less time to find someone on reddit than finding some random person in a game who isn’t a selfish looter.
A problem? It has never been a problem, cause this is a farm game and that is what people do: farming for their items. It’s so easy to do anadariel runs or mephisto runs later. The game has survived like this for 21 years without a problem.
They implement a good loot system so nobody has to go to the forums to look for players, in the end the game has a great lobby system.
It was always a problem, making some classes useless that u never saw them in multiplayer, the latency can also be abused. The game was dead, unless “surviving” for you means 20 players on the server ( I took a look at it like 3 years ago) there were a bit hundreds playing the mods but that is not D2, that was other games that have came over the years, we could call it expansions
naw, if they implement a “loot system” they will lose their hardcore playerbase, like HARD. no way in hell i want any sort of loot system, either pick the items up first, play with friends, or shut up…

And even this makes me sad, I loved to loot gold with telekinese. 
ya the auto gold pickup isn’t even THAT useful, and sometimes i felt like i could pick the gold up faster if they just let me click it… not a fan of the auto gold pick up either…
Nope they wont. They told they are trying to stick so close to the original (1.14) as possible. D3 is already calling you.
The loot system is balanced. The more players in a game the higher the drop rate. So even with the Ninja looting your chances of getting a better drop are better than solo play. It drives the trade economy because if something drops you needed you can trade with someone who doesn’t. They might even just give it to you if you ask nicely. You don’t need instanced/private loot. You just have to talk to/trade with the other players in game.
They will balance the game, as close as possible to the original but improved. Making all the classes and items balanced is something that has to be done, I dont think they want to make the game boring and only making viable 3 classes, dont you think? The gold grab change is a clear example that they will improve the game. If you dont like improved you have the original D2 for play it with ur latency abusers folks

If recall correctly, I could only play the original D2 in small resolution, now it even supports wide screen, aswell as having to pick up the gold 1 by 1, whch has been improved.
If you dont like improves in the game go play the original D2, this is not a game for you.
