Bug/problem list for Devs: what to fix for D2R

Many people think it is a bug because facets are supposed to increase your damage of a certain element and lower an enemy’s resistance to a certain element. If not, they should specify somewhere so that people don’t waste them.

And yes, I get how the game classifies traps.

But traps do damage which is not directly yours. Traps are considered as summoned monsters.

Take for example skeletal mage, it would be the same as when skeletal mages who shoot ice bolts would have increased damage by the cold facets. Which is not the case and its not even logical.

I mean having traps count as summons isn’t really logical either, but either way I’m fine with it. It’s the same situation with a griffon’s also. They need to change it so that the damage doesn’t increase on the tooltip then.

You forgot the “bonewall bug”.

When ever someone ‘bugs’ the necro in a pub game, suddenly everyone is getting bonewalled in as necro paint’s himself into a bad place.

This is a sadly reoccurring bug to this day.

Can you describe it?

I’ve been guilty in the past of seeing this situation as pregnant and waiting.

So a necro is trying to go from lvl 1 to 60, in Hell Chaos run and keeps dying from following leader too close.

So I say to Necro, “thanks for painting the floor of Chaos Sanctuary with your thousands of corpses!”

Everyone know what happens next.

Bone wall everywhere and usually it ends up with hosteling and a dead necro that leaves game with all laughing.

This is so common, that people end up hating necro’s.

Or if you’re trying to level in Chaos/Baal runs you have learned the hard way to leave the necro alone.
Even doing that the necro sometimes can’t resist bone walling baals throne to keep anyone from moving to kill Baal.

Wait your topic means , that you want those bugs u listed into D2R?

I want them being fixed, or atleasts devs maybe see that and consider many of them fixing.

Some of them as Far casting charged strike are already fixed in D2 , since D2R will run on top of D2 1,14d , far casting wont be there!

So it cannot be exploited by txt files anymore?

Also can i use list from you to copy past bugs to first post in this topic?

yes i already made topic with mass bug list you need to scroll down few pages and u will see it , u can use it and rearrange !
I am developer too and used to invest some time into finding those bugs!

Actually is not big deal having it , but they decided to end it , probably cause lagging the server ? Talking about that Far cast charge strike

I just did my probably final update unless someone else will not share new bugs. I depleted my sources and have no more bugs to add now.

This last update is actualy pretty huge as I added over 140 bugs to the list! Prepare to scroll a lot lol. As before, you wont probably understand some of the bugs as they are presented in code and usualy only people who do modding will know what is bug about. Some bugs I dont even I dont understand and I was modder myself :slight_smile:

It is possible that some bugs are already fixed but I think majority is not.

I really hope devs will loot at this and try to fix the most problematic and annoying problems and bugs. I think we all would appreciate it.

Btw, none of your bugs will get fixed for D2R.

They already confirmed they are fixing bugs, though they did say they will treat each bug differently some speed run bugs and crafting bugs won’t change. But things that hurt player experience like invisible poison clouds they will try and fix.

If you would be paying attention actualy, this was already discussed here with Author of that list “Olivie” and the bufs are already implemented in my list.

They are not my bugs, they are blizzard´s bugs they made by mistakes in code. Nobody is perfect, I dont blame them that much really. But i think it should be important for them to fix as many of them as possible because they like to release polished games.
