My character is level 90 and has a base Demonic Mastery skill of 20 and all other required synergies applied, culminating in Bind Demons with a base of 20. I can’t bind the demons in any way, even though I have a 61% chance. This error occurred after the first rule changes. What can I do to fix it?
Simple.
a) have ONE empty summon slot for that demon you want to bind.
b) hold your button DOWN while trying to bind a demon until he is bound .. or dead.
c) when your Warlock keeps says “impossible” while all other conditions are met - enough but less than 20 hard skill points for the wanted demon, a free slot, the demon health is below max - try a different type of demon.
Why?
I just found out that Level 1 Bind Demon CAN bind many regular - aka no minions, champs or bosses - demons but it seems not all of them! For example at skill level 1 in normal Act 4 I can bind regular Pitlords, Venomlords, Urdars and Corpse Spitters but NO Flesh Spawners. This is odd since they are weaker and level-wise lower then all demons mentioned beforehand but here Mr. Warlock keeps saying “impossible”.
So even IF you got the skill lvl needed to bind a certain demon class there still IS a hidden condition which prevents the Warlock from binding it although his skill lvl should be able to.
hey buddy, i have also issues with the skill and i also reportet this here, its the newest bug report and there is also a detailed description whats wrong with it. and how you “fix” it hopefuly.

I followed all the alternatives (a, b, c) that you mentioned, but I still can’t.
When this new Warloc class was released, I could normally bind the demons, but after the update, I’m unable to, even after following the necessary steps to activate this ability.
Ok, let’s see .. you said that your Demon Mastery and Bind Demon skills are maxed out - aka 20 HARD points each. Good. Then you said you got a) a free slot meaning max. 2 other demons running along with you and b) you do HOLD the button for the Bind skill down while keeping the demon targeted - the “link” to the demon must NOT be interrupted - and c) the targeted demon is NOT at full health. Also - I assume here - your Warlock does NOT say “impossible” and is NOT running out of mana.
When all this holds true, tell which demon are you trying to bind?
