Once I interact with the Altar of the Heavens the statues come alive but the game crashes moments after. I tried 5 different times but still the same result so I cannot advance to the boss…

Same thing happened to me yesterday, same spot, PS4.
The only other issue, when I went to log back in, it reverted me back to lvl 11, Act1, and I had total character loss.
Save early and often.

Likewise. Ps4. Playing Druid and the game crashes as soon as I use a skill after interacting with the altar. Crashed 5x. Can’t progress in the game unfortunately until patched.

I respecd to wind element, was using fire before, and got through the fight by using hurricane damage
Figured there was an issue with spell casting for some reason
But yeah that bypassed the bug for me

Same here, 32 zookeeper Druid and the game crashes consistently during the arreat encounter. Any chance this can be handled without a respec Blizz?

I am also crashing here consistently.
Playstation 4, playing online in single player.
Right after I interact with the altar, it crashes. I cannot continue the game.
I have not cast any spells yet. I am a sorceress.

I’m getting this bug too. Nintendo Switch, Druid using Fissure, Volcano (Fire spells, crashes as soon as I cast after initiating the fight with the three statues.
Can’t progress, please fix, Blizzard.

Same location, playing on Switch. Druid lvl 32, right after the speech box disappeared, the game crashed.

Same my ps4 buddies disconnected I didn’t on the ps5 I had to keep inviting them back it was a pain kept disconnecting them so I had to restart a new server it worked for them after that
Same here I’m playing Druid and once the 3 Nephalem come alive it gives me an error code (CE-34878-0). I tried three times in a row and it happens every time. I did notice on the last try that if I just came in with no summons it wouldn’t crash, but as soon as I summoned my Spirit it crashed again.
Edit: So it definitely is a summoning bug, but I was able to fight the three much longer when I didn’t have the mercenary along.
I have run into the same bug. Game crashes a few seconds after tapping the alter. Using a Druid with fissure, normal difficulty.

Playing on Xbox One, summon necro, game crashed when speech box closed.

I was able to beat the Rite of Passage without it crashing on PS4. What I did was I didn’t summon Heart of Wolverine and I didn’t have my mercenary with me. Hope this helps you all until they drop a patch to fix this error.

Crashed with my Sorc on NM. Mercenary was with me. Crash came right after i closed the text box.

Same here on PS4. Necromancer, normal difficulty. The game crashed right after opening the text box. It reverted my saved progress back to the beginning of Act 5.
