Break my sur rune? SCNL

Anyone got a couple lo, or lo plus 2 ohm for my sur?

I can do it - i will be on in 2 hours.

Sounds good man. Thanks.

I’m also looking to break a Sur rune, can anyone do this?

Ona, Sur is definitely not Lo 2 Ohm as OP said, I can do Lo Ohm for Sur or 3 Lo for 2 Sur, let me know if you take my offer.

Doom, I don’t understand your logic of 3 lo and 2 sur being the same value.

This is from the latest Rune Value, NL, list that was posted about two weeks ago - search this forum for ā€˜Rune Value’…this is why he’s saying that Sur does not = Lo + 2 x Ohm…

NON-LADDER

Pul = 3 Lem
Um = 2 Pul
Mal = Um + Pul
Ist = Mal + Um
Gul = 1.5 Ist
Vex = 3 Ist
Ohm = 5.5 Ist
Lo = 10 Ist
Sur = 15 Ist (2 Sur = Ber)
Ber = 30 Ist
Jah = 40 Ist
Cham = 5 Ist
Zod = 9 Ist

Sur = 15 Ist and Lo = 10 Ist, so 1.5 Lo = Sur. I think for your Sur, you could expect Lo + Mal / Um.

I will still help you break your Sur if you’d like…

Rune trade values are not set into stone as in the past (can be quite big difference between min - max trade values):
Ohm can be 4.5 - 5.5 Ist
Lo can be 6 - 9 Ist
Sur can be 10-11 Ist or Lo Vex - Lo Ohm

I Dont understand the Trade Value either, You Loose alot when you trade down
Makes no sense to me

I have 3 or 4 Bers I Want to Break but I Know Ill loose

There should be a way to break down runes like just like upgrading them

Ber you can trade from 2 Lo Ohm / Sur Lo to 3 Lo depends on the seller / your luck. However in Ists it is not 30 anymore, but rather 18-20 Ists.

It all depends on what runewords is popular now, supply and demand differ the trade value of runes as well.

Abv rate are just a guide so that one dont get charged or sell below its value.

Sounds good. I’ll add you once I get home.

How would you define ā€œlose a lotā€?

If you’re thinking because of the rune upgrade recipe, that’s just the wrong way to look at it. All the cube recipe dictates is a rune that is 1 grade higher (say Ber) than another rune (say Sur) can never be worth twice as much as the lower rune.

So a Ber can never be worth more than 2 Sur runes. Bers can definitely be worth less than 2 Sur runes though. Ber can even be worth less than 1 Sur rune theoretically.
