They can’t stop the lobby spam, so just get rid of lobby is apparently the solution. LMAO.
Unless it’s just broken for me. Every time I exit a game, I get ‘failed to join Lobby’.
Lobby has bugs, hell, the whole game does.
My buddy gets the same thing, yet i can see lobby and chat right now.
For starters, they need an automated community driven way of policing the problem. The players are there, they are a useful cog in containing the issue.
1st offense: If a player is reported for spam by X number of players AND there are logs with numerous identical (or mostly identical) messages in a short timeframe matching the reported instances, their chat ability is automatically muted for 24 hours.
2nd offense: If the same thing happens WITHIN ONE WEEK after the first offense mute period lapsing, they are muted for two weeks.
3rd offense: If the same thing happens WITHIN ONE MONTH after the second offense mute period lapsing, they are permanently muted and scheduled for review by staff to decide if further action if needed.
Time multiplication for repeat offenders:
To slow spammers from ‘milking’ the time frames, multiple 1st and 2nd offenses result in the mute and grace period durations multiplying by the number of offenses. So eventually the mute time frames and grace periods will get so long the account will become useless to use for spam.
Oh you guys are gonna flip out when they start joining games to spam us like the good old days.

Yeah and then bots will start joining games to spam instead. That’s exactly what they did in D2 LOD regardless of the lobby being there.
That’s your game. Your game may be bugged, but mine isn’t.
Need to make sure there muted in game aswell or they will just join games every min and spam there
