Bot detected. Pick Items. Put in Inventory. Repeat

Some users in Asia begin using Bot to farming in some specific locations like Pindle…
Can Blizzard detect and ban those accounts? Or is it legit to use Bot in Diablo 2? So confused

Its not legal my man and I feel your pain. Botting is what killed d2lod and it will eventually kill d2r. Actiblizzion cannot detect all them botters. If u have any suspiciouns about a player just report him and lets hope this will make actiblizzion to proceed with further investigation. There are plenty of bots atm unfortunately and its not hard to find one when u search

It was NEVER legit to use a bot in classic D2. Not sure where you got that idea from. There were MANY MANY ban waves. While between 2010-2020 no one probably got banned for anything, IIRC warden was shut down, it still doesn’t mean it was allowed.

Bots have been a thing since the first week D2R was launched but since the majority of bots are private that costs easily thousands of dollars you never saw them in public games. But little by little these bots will become available (or leaked) to the public and they are going to become more complex with being able to farm any area and have insane pickit speeds. So be prepared to see them. I’m sure Blizzard will try to fight as many of them as they did with classic D2. Even with D3, a lot of people on the leaderboards got banned.

I remember pretty clearly the ban wave just before 1.10 , everyone was so happy " dude their gone omg this ladder will be great " .

Yeah this was the over reaction of the century right there . 1.10 came out few weeks passed and everything went back to " normal " .

Use bots/programs at your own risk. They are against tos/eula and can probably will result in a ban “at some point”.
