Man, the BlizzCon schedule is so obviously Blizzard trolling us. As if, for the 30th anniversary, the Diablo Stage is going to be all about Immortal. There are definitely bigger things coming for Diablo, and surely something for Diablo 2 as well. You guys have to check out the mrllama video about it, what a terrible actor, haha. Shortly after the first minute, he might have accidentally mentioned a Diablo 2 Act 4 expansion and then quickly corrected himself to say Diablo 4 expansion ^^

There’s no D2/D3/D5 on their schedule so the only place we’ll potentially see something is during the main stage diablo showcase.

Agreed, experience viewers will catch his deception when he’s trying this hard. Also I think blizzard would have come out and tempered expectations by saying these rumors are fake by now. The fact that they haven’t done that suggests that there may be some truth to these rumors.

I kinda wanted to attend BlizzCon, but tickets sold out.
If they get sold out so quickly all the time they need to try break world record or something, go to bigger venue, where its just too big to get sold out.
Not sure the hotel situation but I was going to attend QuakeCon as well, but the convention hotel was sold out in that case. Kind of curious if convention hotel gets sold out before the BlizzCon gets sold out too.
QuakeCon wasn’t that great even though the Quake1 OG founders showed up though, probably because I didn’t attend. Got a feeling Blizzcon not gonna be that great too since I’m not attending hehe.
Next year I’ll try attend so, be sure to attend next year.
Do you really think that for Diablo’s 30th anniversary, they’ll just show Immortal content on the Diablo Stage and that’ll be it? People would burn the place down, and rightly so ^^

The pavilion already has a diablo 30th anniversary section in it.
Since there’s nothing on the diablo specific stage but 19 hours of immortal, it’s safe to say that any potential announcements for D1/D2/D5 would happen during the main stage diablo segment during the day/time I listed. They don’t need an entire day dedicated to these games. Immortal and D4 are their current money makers and will be the main focus.
I think they definitely trolling everyone with that immortal stuff. I actually find it pretty funny; unless it’s not a troll haha

Ah okay, if they have a dedicated Stage for the 30th anniversary that isn’t on the schedule, that probably explains the strange lineup on the Diablo Stage ^^
Diablo IV new expansion seems unlikely as they just had one. As far as I’m concerned, it also bombed and has yet to produce a decent season. Just more bugs, cheaters, constant nerfs, and gameplay that feels like they’re essentially testing in production.
Diablo Immortal is not something I play, but from what I’ve heard, it’s horrible and it strikes me as weird that it’s so prominently featured.
Which leads me to be hopeful that there will at least be something for D2R. It’s doubtful that it’s going to be anything big, but I’m hoping it will be more RotW-specific stuff and not something that is going to be yet another paid DLC. Probably something about Season 16 at some point, but I don’t think it’s going to be anything even close to the supposed “leaked” items I’ve seen floating around.
