Blizzard needs to stop allowing item selling websites take over the chatroom and public game listing

I login today and see literally 15+ public games all advertising the same D2Honor website.

The game makes peanuts compared to their other games. They have no incentive to do anything for this game. It’s basically a repeat story of the original game, but they at least eventually did something to stop the chat spam back in 2017 by two-week banning for VPN/business grade ISP usage.

The game lobby is a :poop: show.

Those item shops are for sure lining the companies pocket. That’s why they don’t even care about doing a thing about spam bots. They just let it go because the shops are literally paying them. Or they would have done something about them by now. Even RMT is against the EULA and they know these spam bots that advertise these item shops exist. It’s not like it’s going to matter either way.

They are not literally paying them…they are botting and when Blizzard wipes the bots and puts the game on 50% sale they gonna pay them like that…they are literally their best customers…for how little money D2r makes them anyways.

i don’t know if that’s true for the spam ones in chat though.

i have some of them muted and they are STILL in channels to this day and i did that like. at the beginning of d2:r so it seems like those accounts never get banned.
