hc was actually fun for me,
but on classic :smiley:

we got these games with enchant sorceress sitting in town giving you a buff and you do 5k damage with kuko shakaku 1 shotting everything on your way :smiley:

Iā€™d say youā€™re pretty much right. Diabloā€™s hardcore community is strangely arrogant compared to other games; and nothing to justify it. Like, you donā€™t see that in people doing HC wow classic, etc. Everyone understands itā€™s not really an increased skill level, itā€™s just a different way to approach the game. Itā€™s just a game of patience and playing cautiously.

But yeah I have noticed in D2, a lot of hardcore players seem to think they have some additional skill or something, and are arrogant about it. Itā€™s really weird.

Remember when they fixed getting attacked during load screens after the Alpha?

Loading Screen: Character Vulnerability & Time

Characters will no longer spawn in a hostile place until the game is fully loaded, preventing characters from getting attacked or harmed during a loading screen. Additionally, the overall load times will be faster.

Too bad that didnā€™t make it into final release, maybe they reverted to an older build at some point that didnā€™t have that fix and they just never re-fixed it. :frowning_with_open_mouth:

So they are aware pretty good about how bad it is. Just not able to fix it. Maybe they should pay few senior programmers. Maybe one will be enough :D. They got a lot of money from us so they should/couldā€¦ :stuck_out_tongue:

cow portal: cow trap
Uber Trist(if slow load): merc will lure Meph to you for your enjoyment and kill you while still loading(his way to pay you back for all the time you had him die)
Trav guys hiding with a Conviction aura just to slaughter you with hydras
random lag spike will get ya, or disconnect

doesnā€™t need fix if working as intended(just gotta be rdy for it(except for lag//dc))

alternativelyā€¦you can go give softcore a hug and you dont have that issue
