Blizz, make skill editor with easy GUI for tests

As topic.
Make a tool for PTR version of diablo2R for offline testing where you can shift/change/remove/create synergies, change damage values and percent gains, radiuses etc. (everything that has sole value, without meddling in skill mechanics)

If we are to rly help balance out the game, make something that enables us to test out what we are technically theorycrafting here.

I would pretty much use it and help out with ideas but i gotta see if they have any practical meaning. Without any easy to use tools, most of ppl wont even touch anything.
For sure there are ppl who know what to do but im not one of them.
So without any easy to navigate gui its a no go for me.

To make it better, add a ā€œboardā€ where we can share our ā€˜builds’ ingame for easy fast checking and rating + feedback.

you want help balancing things out, give us some tools and we will help out.

Yes they will definetly do this for a 20 year old game, that is going to be forgotten by a huge number of people, as soon as D4 drops. They will not waste time, money, energy and manpower for things like this. The game will have some interesting updates from time to time, and will draw attention, and people will come back and play a little, but is going to be pushed to the side eventuialy.

You can use hero editor to do that.

Start up legacy d2, create an offline/open character, change whatever you want and then copy the .d2s file over to d2 resurrected.

Like where in hero editor can i change which skill synergizes which and where can i change how skill changes and how it lvl up??
I used HE and the only thing i see is that i can choose which skill is on what lvl and not the edit of skills themselves
