Masterfully done, very nice! the loading screen speeds are insane as well

Hmm, traded this circlet, kind of interesting for merc or self w/cham:

2 barb skills
visio
27 lr
75 GF

hey yall this is me

On a previous post I showed a NL ~14min using WW build. on ladder, with less gg gear and more monster hp/aggressiveness, I couldn’t get under 15min with that spec despite many tries. The berserk build was much better with higher GF potential and ability to focus down dangerous superuniques.

hi bro! great performance man congrats on a great time. btw you have to tell me the nvme drive you’re using to load the game lol, it’s instant

I was amazed by those loading times as well. I have 2 hard drives in my pc: 250 Gb SSD for the operating system and a 1 Tb non SSD hard drive for everything else (D2 lod is on this) and my video card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660. Can it be that I have huge loading times, because I installed D2 lod on the non SSD hard drive?

Do you have any results for your comparison between eth Arioc’s and eBotD war pike? Do you also know if those super GG gf barbs use blessed aim or might merc?

might be a interaction of harddrive and ram, dont think the graphiccard makes the difference

ofcourse, loading times on mechanical drives are a lot slower

fastest is : 1.nvme 2.ssd 3. mechanical

graphics make a difference especially when you turn ultra textures on and 4K, much more data to load. 1080p is by far fastest but the graphics card as you said dont think it matters for load times

Pc specs are
Ryzen 5600x
Sk hynix 1tb nvme
Rtx 3080

Great load times are an interaction between cpu/gpu/ssd. I’ve done some detailed testing of before regarding this.

Ssd help initial load times, but after the game files are already in memory (assuming you have enough), it doesn’t make a huge difference.

Biggest contributor is actually cpu. People tell you to uncap the fps, but they don’t tell you why. The game code apparently has tied load times to fps. you can test load times at different fps caps - 8,16,32 etc and you can see its almost a linear relationship at low fps levels. Furthermore, the fps during the load screen is primarily determined by your cpu, not gpu. In the load screens, fps can jump to 300+ if your hardware can handle it. If you be capped it to even 120, this will increase loads by a few seconds each run.

Other than that, I’m sure mods like blockhd can help but not going into that.

As for ariocs vs ebotd - I dislike ariocs for as it doesn’t have leech and whiffs a lot. This increases the chance of merc dying which is basically unrecoverable for purposes of timed runs.

As for auras. The dirty secret is that at high lvls, the aura is unlikely to activate on a quick trav run. But I still use might, as mercs generally have low off weapon ed and might is a huge dps boost. You also don’t need blessed aim cuz using battlecry reduces enemy def to effectively zero.

I went for Fort (300% ed) however this guy 500 Travincal runs with the ultimate "Gold find" barbarian ! NEW tips & tricks - YouTube rate Coh (200% ed to demons) slightly higher (Coh 10/10 vs Fort 9.9/10). Did anyone test if Fort or Coh is more effective /faster in Trav?

Fort has a chance to proc chilling armor. The councils are frozen and the bodies get shattered. So you can’t hork them.

Yeah, Dhrolie’s pointed out the main issue with fortitude.

Eth Black Hades is a good high-end option too.

I still just use guardian angel for max survivability.

I get most of the time 0-1, sometimes 2 shattered councils which I see no big issue in the long run.

I still have a goldfind tiara for sale.
147 eg + cannot be frozen (Lem Lem Cham).

1 Zod takes it.

I’ve tried different armors on my merc and the fastest was forti for pure speed towards 10 mil gold, even with some shattered council members along the way. the drawback besides the shatters is when he dies if your rng is bad, with coh that does not happen.

Hi, Reklov! It looks like you might be new here.

Typically, if you reply to a post that’s more than six months old, you’re doing what’s referred to as BUMP’ing (“Bring Up My Post”) or Necroing a thread. Why is this a bad thing? Well, you may be replying to a conversation that’s long over, or worse, you might be spreading old news.

I hope this information helps, and happy adventuring in Sanctuary!
