Actually now I looked into this, there is still a lot of improvement for my char.
Since I have been rushed, I barely finished any quests. The ones I have yet to complete:
Den of Evil (hell) + 1 skill
Radament’s Lair (nightmare, hell) + 2 skills
The Golden Bird (hell) + 20 life
Lam Esen’s Tome (nightmare, hell) + 10 stats
Fallen Angel (Izual) (normal, nightmare, hell) + 6 skills
Prison of Ice (Anya) (nightmare, hell) + 20 all res
After I completed these, I have a better view what departements he is still lacking. Get some last items (maybe leech full games to get to lvl89, so I can equip GF amulet) and I’ll try the 10 milion challenge this weekend.
The only ‘problem’ is, I can’t ignore the drops haha. I will be picking up stuff & ID’ing.
Lol, that’s always my problem too.
What I will do is to keep 8 slot empty in my inventory. Clear up space in the stash.
Just pick up whatever potential item and throw them into your stash while you stash your gold.
Travincal gold farming was the longest place I had been farming. You get drops like HRs, lot’s of rare/charms and also crafting mats. And you get the gold for gambling. I can do this all day long. But I can’t do other places like pit/cs/baal for more than an hour before I get sleepy. Lol

Ignoring drops is really hard. Good thing with WC barb is that you have time to quickly check almost everything while merc is killing, altough overall it’s slower than BZ barb.
This has been really fun event. I have still few ideas to try out to get faster. Most of similar ideas have proven to be actually slower :D.
I’ve horked few ists, vexes, guls, 2 ohm, sur, jah so far and of course about 10 bers from Teemos armets.
At the moment I’m trying different stuff with BZ barb. Looks like Aldo’s build (BZ A2 BA merc combo) is a bit faster than other combinations. Fastest time for me so far is 18min30sec 18 rounds.
with loading times I have it is slowing me down quite a bit. Seconds I’d save from running a3 comes back when it takes more time to take wp from different act.
Why not have your merc wear CoT instead? It offers life steal, fire resist, and life boost for your merc. No other better option for a gold find merc. Unless you were talking about 1 of those top end rare circs with damage, life steal, gold find, and 2os.
Aldo showed me a video last week of a really impressive run. Seems that Zerk doesnt take the crown… Although I have to say this guys computer is like a spaceship…
Arioc’s has 2 very powerful stats (Ignore Target’s Defense → no points needed in Battle Cry and 50% Deadly Strike) + compared to eBotD it is dirty cheap. I am curious to see the result of your tests.
I am curious as well. Itd will only work on non unique council members and 50% ds applied means that the dmg is just a little above ebotd gpa (if rolled high or perfect). A very cool weapon nonetheless!
Thanks to this thread I was able to finally create a proper GF barb.
My goal was to get under 20runs/10Mil. Didn’t really time it as I pick up all the rares and identify them, gems, etc.
But not bad nonetheless…16-19 runs to get 10Mil.
