Blizz for the love of god remove that delete char cross thingy or rework it

Ask to type char name twice or password to confirm deletion or delete itself like in WoW. Whatever.

I will have far too many drunk sessions with this game and I already deleted my char on PTR because of this thinking its exit button.

Big no no

Ill go nuts if one day I lose 1000 hours of progress because of this

i already 5 times almost deleted my character. Make it harder than 0.5 seconds to delet all the work you ever did in this game

Definitely should have a confirmation after clicking the button! You know, like, are you really sure you want to delete this character? Click again to make it so :joy:

Same here, deleted a character but wanted to close the game in the beta


One short short time I wanted to click this night to close the game again even I knew it!..

The Button have to get smaller, moved or hidden.

It was incredibly dangerous in the beta too, discussed and reported multiple times.

Unbelievable that nothing has been done about it before release.

I guess they had bigger fish to fry

Blizz put password confirmation. The only way it can work. Even if you drunk and game start asking you for pass you will start questioning ‘hey whats going on’ then finally read the message.

Yea, I don’t do controllers or consoles, but having a verification (type the character name) would be huge for this. When it’s this easy to delete a character, it needs to be looked at.

Simple asking to type delete will work like in WoW. Its not like you going to delete chars every day do you.

I dont’ know why it’s not a button that just says “Delete Character.” Too simple I guess.
