Just made a bladesin and wondering how the weapon damage % works.
Is this from the weapon’s base alone? Or does it factor in ED?

I think the skill adds its damage to your weapon damage and then everything is multiplied by %ED. It’s kinda like Grief but in skill form.
if you are referring to the “75% weapon damage” what i think it means is that
1.if your claw weapon has a base damage of (let’s say) 100 - 200 damage it will lower it to 75 - 150 damage
2. after that, all other skill damage calculations are made based on that adjusted weapon damage.
disclaimer: i could be wrong 
i think what you mean is if your weapon is a “cruel blade talon” that has 300% ED on the weapon. then yes blade fury takes the entire weapon damage and mods into account. basically look at the min and max dmg of your weapon in TOTALITY. this is the damage (averaged) which is then added at 3/4 or whatever to blade fury damage. so yes ED matters on the weapon if you want more damage from the weapon.

The skill +damage is hidden like grief +damage. You may use any weapon but the best ones to use are claws! You have claw mastery which seems to work with the +damage on the skill but only with claws! The weapons damage is reduced by 25%, the remaining damage is then added to the +dmg from the skill. Plague is one of the best options! If you want pvm only, its really hard to beat Nats claw, dmg to demons and undead works like fortitude armor and has ignore targets defense! Lastly, claws get .75% damage per str and dex! It seems to work with the +dmg on the skill but only with claws. The only armor you need is fort, nothing else comes close. I can’t recommend phoenix shield over SS. Dual claw isn’t worth it except limited circumstances, mostly pvp vs hdin or bs necro.
Damage= ((Weapon_Damage + Offweapon_Damage) * (1 + StatsBonus + (+x% Enhanced_Damage)/ 100) + Elemental_Damage) * 0.75 + BF_Damage * (1 + StatsBonus + (+x%Enhanced_Damage) / 100)
There’s 2 part to Blade Fury’s damage. First part is skill damage along, yhat part is shown on skill tool tip and DOES NOT suffer from the 75% penalty. Second part is the weapon damage…yes weapon’s ED, ED% from gear works as well, but at 75% penalty.
Also note that if you are using 2 hand weapon(polearm, spear etc) the penalty will be 3/8 instead of 3/4.
