Since today’s update I keep getting a black screen in offline mode. The D2 symbol is still there, the game is on, but I don’t see anything. I need to close and restart the game

Same here. Happens every 10 minutes making the game unplayable. Absolute joke
I’ve had the same issue on the ps4. Before the latest patch everything was fine but now I can barely play for 15 min before it crashed and invalidates my progress.
Haloo Blizzard do something about it when I want to play online so it doesn’t work because of the servers and when I play offline I play for a maximum of 10 minutes before the black screen does.
same issue on PS5, cant go 30 mins without and i lose everything… gotta love the QA testing over there!
This is bullshoi Ever since the update I can’t even go fifteen minutes without the screen turning black and the game locking up. Fix this shoi
Facing the same problems on PS4. Is there any solution?
Try staying in the queue and connecting to battle.net. My games were dropping offline until I tried this.

Can you search the forum?
To avoid this issue Just disconnect you internet connecttion
Run D2R and start playing
Now you can reconnect to internet if you wish.
You have to perform this stepa each time you run D2R or enter online queue,
to avoid black screen issue.
FML, im not working for blizzard and this is like 10th time i am posting this s***. They can even create a pinned thread to inform ppl a out this issue.
