Bizzard can make profit with d2r expantion

Make act6 (lord of microsoft)

They would make more money adding another class without another act. Like they did with the necro in D3.

Why would they care about an expac for a boomer game when they can make more money with a reskin of horse X sold in the WoW virtual shop?

They don’t care about the few 35+ year olds of us that are still in the gaming market and slowly but steadily fading out of it, as there’s no audience to captivate.

D2R users are quit aged people with income…if i were CEO, I would sell char. slot for $10 per each. Heheh

Or ViP System. Enhances chance of HR by 33%. +50$ a Season
Charm-Inventory +10$ a Season
Item Spacing according to D3 (only 2 slots for each item, except for Rings and Amu who only take up 1 space) +66$ a Season.
Get all for only 96.96$ a Season.

Increase drop chances for $50 per season? That’s a joke, right?

Hahahahaha …

Funny as hell! But, I do agree, they could make money from an expansion. One major probs, no devs that can code this old game correctly without breaking many other things. Proven already.

Not every is buying their runes for $0.03 in the internet. Lots of ppl don’t know about it psst…

If you think that current blizz would actually improve the game by adding anything major you are fooling yourself.

Current blizz can hardly design runewords properly.

I would rather play a new diablo game that is actually good :{

For starters, I would prefer if they added 3 more quests in Act 4, rather than create a whole new act from scratch.

If it goes well, perhaps they add more content later.

Never going to happend. If enough people protest and don’t buy d5 or d4 expansion they will just kill the brand and end it. They are not going to risk it with a d6

Despite having so many sheeple that blindly buy their games, they’re doing a decent job killing the franchise by releasing half-baked games. That, and they’re out of touch with the franchise customer base.

I miss the old Blizzard… They released quality games, and would delay a game release if they felt the game needed more polishing. They engaged/communicated with their customer base. They were seen as a game industry standard for others…

Things started going downhill when Vivendi (B. Kotick) bought them out. Then it went warp drive towards rock bottom with the Blizzard/Activision merger. That which has a beginning must have an end. Oh well. :disappointed:

Bobby Kotick has done a great job sucking the soul out of Blizzard in order to line his pockets. Financial vampirism at its finest.

now seriously

an epilogue would be great

So much THIS, and also all the unfinished and cut out content of act IV.

You know what it is. An act 6 will add so much powercreep to D2. Also I don’t think the current devs are suitable to make an expansion. Ofcourse I think they can, but they will ruin it much enough it will be D3/D4 in a D2 jacket. Which won’t work. See Mosiac Assa for example. D2 is just fine as it is now. Only need some QoL from BH Lootfilter and Basemod.

I’d like to see “the other half” of Act IV, that unlocks after defeating Baal (or Diablo for Classic). I can imagine something like the demons are going completely berserk now that the Big 3 are dead, and they are threatening to overtake the Pandemonium Fortress. We need to do some “things” to seal things off or stem the tide or whatever.

I would also like to see a new Act 4 Merc added. I’d like a Pandemonium Knight that acts as a Paladin/Necro warrior that uses Pally attacks combined with Necro Curses to finally give Necro skills some representation among the merc options.

It just so happens…

Pandemonum knight sounds nice…but I think they woukd make another PC-worrior(?) instead…

Quite a scary thought
