Anyone know when will beta test begin? Also, is anyone excited for Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, coming to PC & Console later this year?
I am lookin forward to it myself. I am also hoping they rerelease dark alliance 2.
Personally I am not that interested in the new one. Trailers havent sold me on it at all. Maybe streams will clarify the game a bit better and I might like how it is, but on the fence atm.
I hooked my PS2 up not even a month ago to play DA 1 and 2 and the two Champions of Norrath games, and am extremely stoked to play on my PC. I do hope they bring 2 to PC as well, as I think it was a much better game.
Man, I want the Champions games to come to PC too. Ugh. I WANT ALL THE THINGS!
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I didn’t really like the Dark Alliance games.
Champions of Norrath were great though.

Still have it for PS2, but now I have finally an excuse to throw out the old CRT 
there is only one kind of Baldur’s Gate Game! BG 1 and BG 2!
(ok ok and Icewind Dale 1 + 2, and Tyranny, aaaand Pillars of Eternity, and maybe Pathfinder

I wonder if they fixed the obvious exploits in the way characters were saved. I used to cheese items in Dark alliance by exporting a character, selling all of that characters gear, then importing the character to have all the gear back. Repeat that a few times and you have infinite money.
That’s how Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 work. I think it is considered as a feature. 
I don’t really see a reason to do so.
They intentionally implemented a lot of cheat codes as well.
Nobody is forced to use/abuse any of this stuff.
Well, I had a blast playing it with my cousins on PS2 in coop mode.
It might not have the depth of other Baldur’s Gate titles, but it is fun - and that is what counts imo 
Also the graphics were pretty decent for 2001 on console.

It sure is! It’s already out on PS4 and Xbox One while it’s coming soon for Nintendo Switch at May 20th. PC, however, will take some time to release later this year in 2021.

Sorry but this is not Baldurs Gate… Its Divinity 2.5. 
no matter what other people say. They f%€#% it up. Im so angry about Larian. 
I actually prefer Divinity’s gameplay but I can completely understand the disappointment from fans of the original games.
For BG 3 I am hopeful they will make the game better, but atm I don’t think it is worth the price.
I really enjoyed Divinity: Original Sin. I see no problem modernizing Baldur’s Gate in this direction.
It’s what I expected and wanted ever since I played D:OS.
Pillars or OG Baldur killed me with RNG each attack … so I very welcome they revamp to make more divinity like.
