I’ve just gotten into hell. I’ve currently built a firewall/blizzard build. Problem is it just doesn’t work with a controller. I always end up missing with my spells or target the wrong enemy. What have you guys found is a viable console build for sorc on console?
Frozen orb works very well and fireball is decent. Using glacial spike and waiting an extra mpth of a second before using blizzard on the frozen cluster is indeed jank but can be made to work more than blizzard alone.

I’m using frozen orb and firewall it’s seems to be working well I’m only in act 2 hell so far tho. I tried frozen orb with meteor and meteor is a pain because you can’t aim it ahead of packs
I agree, Blizzard/Meteor is poop on console. I’ve been using frozen orb/lightning but you’ll need decent gear to be efficient as lightning drains mana like crazy even with an insight on your merc. Frozen orb does get pretty weak as you get to Act 4/5 on hell.
Orb + lightning… I am able to run all bosses/zones with minimal to no issue and few uniques are immune to cold + light, whereas more are cold + fire from what I can see. Plus, ES is only one skill point after tele and chain lightning therefore you arent wasting points placing into ES as fire/cold.
