ok so it WAS changed in 2.4 to allow spears. eth 4 soc war pike is indeed the best then.

although technically i never got above white belt in jujitsu as we only did that once twice a month. during the normal sessions, so i guess in a way, it’s not entirely inaccurate.

Pride can socket in Spear after 2.4.
Patch 2.4 : Infinity, Obedience, and Pride can now be made in Spears and Amazon Spears.

Easiest to get is Stygian Pike. Find Eth one and then let Larzuk make 4 sockets in it. Waiting for 4s eth War Pike to drop… you’re in for a long wait I would imagine. Colossus Voulge would be a Larzuk option too, but strength requirements are higher.
true, but then again… he is making a pride, not exactly the cheapest runeword around.
i would say paying the extra price to get the correct base would be worth it
war pikes only drop in lvl 85+ areas, so while they used to be hard to find terror zones make the lvl 85+ items much easier to aquire
Fow what you want to make pride? pride is mostly garbage with like one single exception and even that is questionable.

No, its tested that infinity is better for them.
I was planning to put on act2 might merc as a nerco summoner. I am not even close to be able to make infinity.

Guess it depends if you’re going to have those useless spirit wolves summoned and what other attack rating bonuses there are. Like Fanatism. I had all auras on with my druid in S1 and as long as I didn’t summon Spirit Wolves it was nice going.
Whats your alternative to faith physical bowazon? Pride merc seems to be the clear winner.
Faith merc is a no-go because of how small the aura range is and the bad AI.
Idk about bowazon, that could be only case where its useful. For summoners is better infinity

I assume this is recent since 2.4, with the buffed mages? Cause I seem to recall that before that they were trash, even with infinity.
