What is the best place to farm Ber and/or Jah runes?

The usual answer is lvl 85 areas, kill as much as possible, as fast as possible.
MrLlama got a ber from some trash in Tristram while going to farm cows
I got my only high rune, a Jah from Mephisto. Since them (3 months?) nothing except 2xVex (no matter where i farmed)
Other places: cows, travincal council - but for this one i’d say a berserk barb is kind of mandatory to be efficient
Probably your best bet is trading. Killing mobs in lvl85 areas might get you some good item once in a blue moon, you can trade that, rinse repeat and trade your way to a Ber

need hundreds of runs doing either approach to see HR. maybe HR every 200 to 500 runs. very unpredictable.

Indeed…ideally in p5+ games in order to decrease the ‘no-drop’ chance from mobs(meaning as the name implies that will not drop any kind of loot) and basically increase the chances of ‘Rune Groups’ to be selected from the loot table.

I for one dropped in solo online play: Sur from random mob in Ancients tunnels, Jah from Meph Council, Jah from random mob in Throne of Dest and Ohm from Ancient Tunnels Chest.

I found a JAH drop in the Forgotten Tower level 5, not from the Countess, but from a Devilkin in the next room. I also had a JAH drop from Eldritch in the Frigid Highlands. I think they can drop from just about anywhere, the odds are just really low.

Travincal Horker Barb is your highest % chance.

Cows is also great.

Chaos is good.

Otherwise all you got is spamming level 85 zones. When I’m in the mood to farm on my summon necro I like to full clear all the level 85 zones and stuff. Worldstone Keep+Throne is my favorite I think. Great density and lots of ghosts.

If you can somehow guarantee to kill the ghosts over the floor, arcane sanctuary has the best drop rates

I found a Lo in cow hell and other Lo in Pit run. Not a jah or Ver, but in cow hell u can find any type of rune. And trade the not so high for jah/ber

98% of people get it from exploiters/ botters because drop rates are atrocious.

Lower kurast objects for up to Ber in full games
Any zones with a lot of ghosts
Horking ghosts with find item
Bosses
Council at travincal
Terrorized Countess, Hephasto, Summoner, Council
Cows
Any very high densiity zones with high player setting and fast killing
