Hi everyone. Item lvl is 45. Hell difficulty is not an option yet. I need to make an Honor runeword with that scepter 'cos I’m finding even the Den of Evil to be too challenging. Also, since Hell areas start at lvl 68, my odds are actually lower in Hell right?

Not sure that honor is going to help you very much. Personally, If I really wanted a divine scepter and was in nightmare I would be in the cow level.
I came to this conclusion, after discussing my Zealot’s shortcomings in two other threads. The most recent and relevant one is in the Paladin forum, called something like “My Zealot is NOT ready for Hell - dam and leech.”
I never managed to get much leech in my gear. So, Hell’s nerf + the lower drain effectiveness on some monsters really cripples me. Even regular Zombie packs are a challenge.
Honor is not the ultimate solution, of course. Just a stepping stone to survive in Hell, and be able to farm Countess and other spots for better runes. I’d prefer Oath or Grief.
Right now, my main weapon does a bit more dam than a normal Honor DS. But it’s slower, adds no leech and no skillers. A Honor DS with relevant +skillers would surely improve my leech, both through its +7% and its faster attack. I may even get more dam as well, if it boosts Fana or Zeal and it’s superior quality.
Are you playing offline? I have a nice holy thunder runeword in a 3 holy shock base been sitting in my stash for months now, you are welcome to it if you are playing online.
Yeah, I play offline. Thanks anyway. Also, as a purely melee Zealot with maxed Fana and no other offensive auras besides prereq’s and Conviction, that kind of weapon would ruin my build.
