Used to use a hammerdin to farm Nihlathak, didn’t have Enigma at that time, had to drag a few monsters at a time, kill them and then switching to redemption aura to clear the bodies; when the monsters are almost cleared out, charge in and kill Nihlathak. It takes a few minutes for this process, just wonder if there is any better build doing Nihlathak farming without GG gears, e.g. Enigma, Infinity, etc.
Meteor Sorc, Zerker Barb and FuryZon are the best for him imho. None of these need any particularly good gear.
Zerker can just leap on to him, howl and then single target him down without worry of corpses being made for him to Corpse Explosion you to death.
FuryZon simply wipes the area clean instantly… but you need to be mindful of the corpses if Nihlathak has Light Immunity.
Meteor Sorceress is pretty self explanatory… Nothing including Nihlathak himself will survive. Just make sure you don’t kill anything near yourself, again for obvious reasons.

I really like trap assassins. Traps give you distance without being blown up. IDK how great it works with weak traps, and the clear speed obviously isnt the OP build speeds. My assassin doesnt have GG gear.
Assassins are pretty underrated honestly

Hmm, yeah I never realized barb could do it like that. I never played barb before, but that is a good idea.

Natures peace ring on any build. Prevents the ability for Nilth to corpse explode. Game changer.
Trapsin or Foh seem to be the top solutions
It can be done with summon or fire druid as well. You use wolf and bear summon skill and spam onto a bunch of places around the minions. This acts as a bit of CC while you position yourself accordingly to spam nilathak with fissure and or tornado. Ive done this woth windy druid and farmed a keyset recently!
FoH sucks at Nith. Need to get close within Conviction range = near corpses, he’s often immune to lightning, holy bolts won’t damage his minions = they damage you, but they will often damage other mobs around = more corpses for explosion. Additionally the path to Nithlathak is full of beasts, often lightning immune.
FoH hybrid in the other hand… invest into Smite or Blessed Hammer and you are set.
