Before dropping a sunder charm, what are the good builds for doing terror zones?

Freedom of discussion here

Guess CE / summon nec should perform quite solid.

Wow, I always thought the 1st answer would be: cold sorc, no argument needed

Depends in how many areas you want to cover. CE Bone Necro is also a good option. CE summon nec covers 2 elements: phys and fire, CE Bone nec covers 3: phys, fire and magic. Ultimately hammers will cover most areas just with magic dmg. Cold sorc is fast but is limited to non cold immune areas, unless you dual speced, than it is the fastest for shure.

If before droping sunder charm means, before you find one.

for me , sorc dual / pure blizzard, and teleport for fast movement

My Lvl 85 Frenzy/Thrower Barb performed rather nicely when I tried them out last night. I was expecting MORE monsters but if they are staying like a normal zone with a few more champions its not that difficult at all…

Anything with hork…

With cold Sunder, absolutely. Due full CM on immunes without 1/5 penalty most likely absolute META in 2.5. But with non, i’ll take an allrounder build and look what a get.

my lit sorc absolutely destroys it, it’s not even a challenge, it feels like regular monsters with HUGE amounts of xp.

edit: this is 5player solo farming. it’s a joke.

Nova/ES without Infinity can still farm a lot of areas.

Lit sorc/java with infinity can go anywhere

hammer pally can stack mf really well and no need for infinity or enigma with charge

Hybrid sorc slower but versatile example orb/hydra/static not dps but can kill cold immunes without entering rooms or areas merc can handle the duel immunes reason orb and not blizzard is i just hate casting blizzard 5 times and mob walks right thru with no damage prob just bad aim but still.

Pet builds needs a tele method to reset pets otherwise half your army in last room

there are many viable builds foth, nova, trap sin hybrid, singer barb ect… each will have weaknesses unlike late game already op builds.

I will probably go with hybrid sorc orb/hydra/static because of tele and the forward momentum feel orb gives me. Will be hoping for the fire charm to drop

Edit: multiplayer games eliminate 90% of possible builds I’m focused on single player with this reply

I don’t think you can get things such as infinity and enigma any earlier than sunder charm tho
Hybrid hydra/frozen orb sounds good

Yeah I agree I guess it depends on focus if you focus TZs charm would probably be quicker but if you focus chaos maybe different outcome
Yes its a fun build and you don’t run into pretty much anything you cant handle someway or another it really suffers multiplayer though not enough dps to solo farm well in higher player count
Edit : the low synergy cost for orb lets you make hydra viable damage to take out cold immunes and 1 point in static to deal with duel immunes with merc

Mmm, MeteOrb sorc… A tried and true classic build. Something about calling meteors down to smash your enemies into ash makes you think “Ohh yeah.”

YES!!! but I’ve got the worst aim lol so hydra is where I go lol

Heheheh, use yourself as bait, cast the meteor on yourself. Use frozen orb to slow if needed. Then tele or run out of the way. Gotta kite the monsters into the impact area.

Or use teleport to corral them into a group while blasting the group with meteors. A bit intensive on quick and complicated mouse movements, but it works.

Yeah then my dumb merc runs up to them stopping them in their tracks lol maybe act 1 merc hmmmm

Also, even the TZs have their tier list. So you preferably only go to TZs with decent tier and monster density. In that sense, blizz sorc, foh din are still terrific builds before sunder charm tho.

man i would love it if terrorized zones increased monster density by like 50% in the terrorized zones alone to make them even more enticing and rewarding and engaging.

not even for challegnge, just more active engagement with the game

Im wondering what the drop table will be like for sunder charms. Might give an idea on how to collect them/moving to higher difficulties.
