Been farming pindleskin for a loooooong time. I get thats how RNG is, but I am barely even getting rares with 446 MF. Baal would take forever to do and it’s risky for me. Do I just keep farming Pindle? Gettin unenthused and uninspired here.
if/when you give up, you can buy one for a mal or an ist on traderie. one even sold for an um 45 minutes ago.
it’s my singleplayer account, so I am gonna guess everyone is gonna say it doesn’t matter. I am just trying to earn everything without feeling rushed.
Not sure if it helps, but i saw one drop in hell cows players 2, just me and some other guy.
The massive number of cows might make it more likely to drop…or not lol.
Depending on your build, farm any tc85 area that works for you. Also don’t waste your time looking for 1 specific item. You will get frustrated and you won’t have fun. Just go with whatever you find and maybe try new builds to change the scenery for a bit
My two cents would be to farm River of Flame/Chaos/Diablo. Nearly the same odds, + more loot in general. Assuming you are a build that can handle the boss packs. Also spend less time making new games.
With a weaker build Pits/AT are good.
Is that the armor? If so that is one of the few things I did find in D2R (I cannot remember where). I never liked that set because it felt slow to me (not nearly enough faster cast rate). It also felt really bad to give up the amulet slot too. Those things can usually have such nice stats on them
Still haven’t found the amulet though. Maybe next year.
Found mine during a chaos run good luck buddy
Got mine yesterday from pindleskin.
And I found mine yesterday from an Elite mob in WSK Lvl 2
I found that once. Unfortunately I couldnt pick it up fast enough and someone else grabbed it.
Yeah I found 3 in cows on offline account. Was just gonna suggest that. Pindle is for bots. He doesn’t drop anything unless it’s thousands of runs. If you’re gonna run Pindle then at least run the other 2 bosses at the first waypoint, too. Shenck and Eldritch. Makes a nice loop to run the three and is really fast since you’ve already made a game.
You should try farming 85 areas and kill everything. I think even the trash mobs can drop it. Tal’s armor is always a pain to find when you’re hunting for it. Usually it will drop if your hunting for a Griffons or something like that. You should expect a few thousand runs from any area you farm for it. It seems like after you find it once it starts dropping more frequently which is weird.
Never set out to find a specific item.
Set out to find loot that’s tradable to obtain what you’re looking for through trade.
That’s what online play is for when it comes to hearing up.
Single player you farm endless for the specifics because that’s the only way to find them.
Trade is an INCREDIBLY useful tool when it comes to getting the gear you want
Farm up the value of the item you’re trying to get.
While you’re doing it you may just find exactly what you need, you may also find something worth much more.
Also
If you play single player, try and have one of every class.
That way when rare items drop it doesn’t need to be VERY SPECIFICALLY the one class type item that you play.
It makes ALL drops much more valuable if you always have a hero that can use it
