Battle Command should be granting more than 1 skill point

Right now, it doesnt matter if you have level 1 battle command coming off CTA or level 50.
You only get +1 skill…just the duration changes and can be very easily refreshed

Wouldnt it make sense that if you put more points into it , it gives you extra skill points …like roughly 10 or 15 skill points–1 extra level of skills

Lvl 1-9 → +1 all skills
Lvl 10-20 → +2 all skills
Lvl 21-30-> +3 all skills
Lvl 31-40 → +4 all skills
Lvl 41-50-> +5 all skills
51-60->+6…

Or maybe +15 skillpoints in skill for extra skill level if +5 is too much?

So, to sum things up, you want to turn the powercreep up to 11?

Well it doesnt have to be + skills

Add damage or something…because for a level 30! supposedly uber endgame skill (that requires 3 prerequisites) all it does is add more duration after you invest more than 1 skillpoint. Complete bummer. No other lvl 30 skill does that, they all add some extra bonus with each additonal point.

(and no, duration doesnt count as a “bonus” when you can just press again to refresh it)

Ok, lets say they did this buff to Battle Command… What do the monsters get in order to stop them from being blown over like paper bags?

Idk why people are so obsessed with turning 1-point wonders into some sort of investment worthy skills. It’s like arguing against your own interest. This is how we get things like Increased Stamina as synergy for Frenzy, and Find Potion being a synergy for whatever it’s a synergy for (I honestly don’t even know or care tbh). Battle Command is amazing as it is.

I was thinking about BCommand while ago in the same manner as you: adding more skill points means more +skills. I think now its a bad design.

First of all I ask myself: for what reason will I put points or max out BCommand as barb? I will for sure not put 20 points into BCommand to have +2 or 3 skills. That results in around ±30% more damage, AR, some res, defense etc. for 19 skillpoints invested. I say its bad investment.

Maybe if BCommand adds only +1 to skills but also increased 5% dmg to party members (or 5% ar also) per point it would be better to put 19 points there for another 95% dmg bonus to barb, merc, other players.
For example Whirlwind build have leftover points that usually go into Shout or whatever. Now it could go to Bcommand for some more damage. So there you have 1 build design that could use Bcommand.

Battle Command does need some attention but what about the lobby and the game list
