Lol bots will never be banned in this game, they will continue to cause a mass crippling to d2’s trade economy, this has been a thing since the days of your internet being dropped due to someone picking up a phone in the house.

Its much more simple to go after people using MH or MA who can see the map and gain no real advantage other than saving a few minutes each MF run, so simple infact it cripples the already barely existent d2 player base.

Do you think blizzard is worried about banning bots? If they wanted, they would be banned already bro. Its a business model, they need botters to keep buying new game copies from times to times. They could ban bots every week, but they simply DONT WANT IT.
Just google D2R bot and it will be easy to find them. This one for example, I doubt anyone using this got banned: d2rassist . com

People who don’t think botting won’t get you banned are in for a rude awakening. Their time is coming don’t kid yourself. Pretty easy to enjoy this game without MH or a bot… if you aren’t enjoying it go to d3…

So the run will take 1 minute instead of 2 or 3, hardly noticable right?
Only speeds up certain runs by 100 or 200%.
A lot more effective than going from 200 to 800% mf, would you say modding a +600% mf on a for example an Occulus is no real advantage, not real cheating?

I think they should definitely ban bots, and preferably often, but it doesn’t mean other cheaters should get free passes.
It’s against CoC a ban was to be the expected outcome once you get caught, don’t cry over it, putting everything on Red and seeing Black appear doesn’t mean you should complain about it not being fair you lost your money.

Only solution to bots are:

  • Ploot
  • /player x command
  • way better drop rates for legit fair players, adapted also for 4-monthed seasons.
  • add cheap alternative for necessary runewords (BO/ Conviction/ Teleport and yes allow Shapeshifters to Teleport).
  • better exp level 95+

All else will fail, since they feed on legit fair players’ frustration.

Take it further with ploot. Instead of banning offenders, make it so only Scroll of tp drops for a random amount of time. This would be hilarious but we all know that would cut deep in their pockets.
