They never actually said that, it was more like a “we’ll look into it.” And the models were adjusted slightly from initial reveal. Rob also stated during an interview that they were open to balance changes post launch, and that if they did change the balance, the meta can diversify. Everything we are seeing is pretty darned consistent with the media interviews, surveys, and statements of mostly authentic to the original at launch, listen to the community post launch.
