Hi everybody,
Just joining to the boat of sadness here, with an i7 920 and a GTX750ti that perfectly ran the beta.
Sending some good vibes to the devs (I’m sure they’re tryng their best to fix this), because I know Blizzard has this kind of problems on every launch, so that is cleary a fault (unless from my point of view) of the people that don’t know about tech and only know about money, and some how is in charge.
No doubt thousands of us impacted. I’m not sure of how many overall are loading the game up. We are probably a small subset, but still reflect probably over $100,000+ revenue. That’s not completely inconsiderable. I’m sure they are working on a fix.
I have similar, just be patient and they will fix
If they put it there was to build or correct something, now they know it’s causing problems they have to remove/replace it, but they need to be sure that doesn’t break something else when they remove/replace the thing, and that is the hard part.
similar problem, or similar (same?) video processor. Im not laptop expert, but i hever heard of Intel UHD for video. Have you heard of it?
I can sign most of it like that, but what else are we supposed to do besides making a stupid face. If after 38 years we have not yet understood that the corporations decide how it goes, then we can only remember it the next time or the many hundreds to a thousand hours that we happily sunk into so many games. I can wait a day or two longer if things go right. Because we can all make mistakes, but this mistake is, admittedly, a crowning glory of the usual sh*t.
I know I’m old, but I miss the days when you buy a game and it actually worked correctly right out of the box. No or very little bugs because they actually play tested it thoroughly. Also you actually got a full game and not just a game fragmented into parts that you have to buy the rest of later. That was when games were made by people who actually play games instead of CEOs who only know about how to make as much money as possible and know nothing about the games themselves.
This kinda feels like that first girlfriend you have. Man, if she mistreats me like 14 more times, i might have to think about moving on. I grew up playing diablo. When diablo 2 came out, it was awesome. They made it better than the original in every way. To this day, its my favorite game of all time. Blizzard was king. Now, i feel like we give them too many chances just to let us down over and over again. Coming up on 12 hours of no fix. They “fixed” multiplayer, sure. But at least they can play singleplayer when the servers go down. Were stuck here; fights breaking out, trying to punish users that have no issues, begging for another response. I was angry earlier in the day, now its sadness. Why did i trust them again? They cant mess this up. Its diablo 2! Of course they made a mistake, and i understand mistakes happen. But when they happen over and over again, are they really just mistakes? And like usual, first they blame the customer. This is already too long. My therapy session will have to continue later. Good luck everyone, lets try to keep our sanity.

Capitalism is the system that feeds us and whose slaves we little ones will always be, or you can no longer afford a computer and have to live on the streets. Exceptions only confirm the rule.
Nope, had the same problem Start - Jumps into game and back out to start again and sometimes posts a code. I’m saying something has happened since I was able to see the client launch. Now the start button doesn’t even work. These problems are related IMO.
Same here… Now just throw the game out hopes it plays fine, if not they fix/patch it later
So annoyed with this now, they really need to hurry up and get it fixed. Almost 12hrs after launch and there must be 1000’s of us with this same problem because they decided to add AVX and not even mention it. Boils my blood! Ran beta with no problems, I would have refunded there and then if it didn’t.
Over 1000 comments, guys! Yay! Let’s get to 2k!
that is not the same issue as us. our issue the game
NEVER opens any window. if you ever opened a screen at all, you do not have the same issue as us.

Took off 2 weeks, got plenty of time here
I bet we’ll hit 2k before this “patch” comes out.
No, your CPU does not support AVX, but SSE. You are affected by the same cause that most of us have on this thread. Blizzard has been working on a patch for many hours and we are all eagerly awaiting its release as we all cannot play.
I do have this issue (battle.net app just loops round and game never launches), and it’s caused because of AVX.
