As I understand it: Auto-Gold Pickup makes it to where when your character walks over any gold (whether your hovering your mouse over or not, no need to press alt either) it automatically picks up the gold for you. This is a great QOL feature.
/nopickup makes it to where you HAVE to be pressing alt in order to hover over and pickup items. This is great ESPECIALLY for melee, but even on ranged characters so that you can move around precisely in the heat of combat without wasting a precious moment by accidentally going through the short action of picking something up. And you’re not filling your inventory with items you didn’t mean to grab. Hopefully you see where I’m going with this. Since gold takes up no space in your inventory, it wouldn’t matter if you walked over some gold and it added it to your total gold while your in combat, or in any situation. I don’t think anyone has ever said “actually I don’t want any gold thanks”. So perhaps this isn’t a bug in the traditional sense, and maybe just an oversight with the new auto gold pickup feature. But these two things should absolutely work simultaneously, yet they currently do not.
