Aura on Left Mouse-Button Skill ( PC )

well not only portions actually  ā€¦ you can use TP scrolls from belt

Yeah, itā€™s been mentioned. Not optimal, as it takes valuable belt room, but way better than opening the Inventory tab. As I said, I prefer to give TP a hotkey in the right skill slot, and enable Quick Cast Skills. So I can cast it with just one key, and have the slot back to its main skill right after.

Reminder. This is a good idea. Letā€™s do it, Blizz.

Ideally, Iā€™d prefer they just add a third ā€œAura-onlyā€ slot so that Paladins can use both mouse buttons like every other class. Auras could only be selected in the aura slot and only one active at a time.

Sounds like you need to investigate quick cast and force move.

I just switched from ps5 to pc and didnā€™t think the play style would get worst. A controller has a huge advantage because it can have the aura always on, walk with a joystick, tele with a button, cast foh with another.

The mobility is terrible with pc for tele pally. You canā€™t tele with an aura active like u can on console.

Good point you are making here, however I have feedback for the quick cast mechanics. You are right quick cast in this game right now is amazing and allows you to play much faster without smashing the keyboard. I play PvP with quick cast but have a major issue I ran into. The issue I have is thereā€™s no option to swap to a skill permenantly and not quick cast it. I believe this could be an easy fix where blizzard allows a hotkey to be set and once pressed along with the skill, it would switch to the skill permenantely and activate it. For example on a paladin if I want to use fist of heaven to chain name lock I canā€™t do that. I can only keep smite on my left click and chain lock with smite but as the opponent teleports away I canā€™t hold FOH on them and teleport on top as it would just quick cast FOH. If instead the quick cast mechanic stays the same but using another hotkeyed button it would tell the game to cast the skill but also permenantely switch to it, which allows you to HOLD the name. Then you can lock with smite/foh as you can with regular controls currently. This puts me at a massive disadvantaeg and not nearly as fun. Iā€™ll make my own post to describe this.

Hammardins approve this.

This is literally the reason I have not wanted to play paladin. I need this function on melee builds or i cant bear to use it.

My workaroundā€¦

Be sure to turn on Quick Cast Skills in the gameplay options menu. Now when you execute a MELEE skill, mapped on ANY kb or m button, without a target you MOVE instead of attack. This is the ā€˜autoattackā€™ LMB behavior we like as melee.

Again, be sure to turn on Quick Cast Skills in the gameplay options menu or it wonā€™t work. Bind a skill like zeal to letā€™s say F1. Use F1 like you want to be using RMB. Hold it down and move your mouse without clicking any mouse button, to attack or move automagically.

Now either play using F1 instead of RMB, or use a 3rd party app to bind F1 as RMB outside of the game. Rebinding RMB does get awkward because you lose RMB function in inventory but itā€™s an option. I leave RMB alone and use Logitech Gaming Software to remap my G305 mouse side buttons to F2(zeal),F3(smite),F4(charge) for 3 ready skills at the mouse, and use the side button of choice instead of RMB.

all of this to still have a broken mechanicā€¦ they should fix it and spend time on it. Now while on quick cast what would be a work around to hard swap a skill

Can we please get a fix on this problem?
Itā€™s stupidly uncomfortable to use your movement button as your main skill. I donā€™t wanna press shift every time I cast Fist of Heavens for example.
Update please!
