If you apply charges such as fists of fire, and then use blade fury - does it apply fire dmg? Thanks!!

Nope. It is stated clearly in descriptions that charges are spend only by basic attack or special martial arts skills only.
Besides, it’d make very little sense - to gain charges you need to hit someone in melee range, thus completely giving up range advantage provided by Blade Fury.
