is 46 fire and 48 light res good enough to get thru hell? my cold is -14 have to work on that, tnx
ideally you want 75s.
with 46 fire you will get eaten up by quite a few mobs. 48 light? good luck with souls in the keep lol.
just try to add charms to your inventory to help with resists until you can get better gear.

For act 1-2 anything higher than 0 is good enough imo. Even small amounts of negative is ok.
Past act 3 you are looking at constant one shots if you don’t have higher resistances.
short answer:
yes of course, any resists can complete hell. You will just have to play around with things that increase your survivability. You might not absolutely one-shot, steamroll through content.
Depends on what you play. my blizzard sorc is in the range of 0, ±10 on either side and it’s fine over clvl 85 as she doesn’t get hit much. For melee, you really want at to at least not have negatives.
As long as they are 50 or higher you should be able to survive. There are some attacks that regardless of resistances, unless they are 100, you need absorb of that damage. Supposedly at 100 you become immune, but I’ve never had Maximum to resistances gear that high.
thanks all, Im playing bone necro and I bone prison everything and explode them , dont get hit much. Bone armor is pretty good too. Do charms drop more often in hell?
Charms dont drop more often, they have a chance to spawn with stronger affixes due to the higher affix cap based on item level.
Yeah, definitely save some of those resist charms until your gear can cover the difference.
Depends on your Class, for a trapper or Summoner that will do fine. If you are a melee and running -Cold resists, the first CE guy you come to will kill you.
get yourself some of that natural resistance or fade. awwwwww yeah

even as a javazon i largely ignore resists. mid 50’s on all of em and have no troubles, can farm any area of the game.
You dont need any resist when you are good enough to never get hit.
