found a perfect die cold facet in hardcore and i cant get anyone to join my trade game at all.
are those less sought after now with sunder charms or something like that? or maybe i just stink 
Cold facet is probably the least sought afterā¦ the only popular cold builds are from blizz/orb sorcs and since they already have built in cold pierce it is pretty pointless on themā¦
Perf white lightning die facets go for several Jahsā¦

Specific to your question, I would say facets are more useful now since sunders. They work at 100% effectiveness while conviction, lower resist, and cold mastery all face a gigantic 1/5 effectiveness nerf. Out of those, I really wish they didnāt nerf cold mastery so hard.
Value in the market? I couldnāt tell you without researching. But I think Guitars is totally right.

CM I think also only works at 1/5th effectiveness currently after everyone cried when āBlizz was OPā or whatever. So if your goal was to be universal even -200 cold res would only be -40, so facets probably still have a place.
I think COLD sorc in HC might be a bit of the issue on top of the lower population. Iām not sure entirely how popular the various sorc builds are for HC, but I would assume ES sorcs would be more mainstream. Your cold facet is still worthwhile youāre just having an issue finding the right people who actually need it.
It used to go light > cold > fire > PSN, but nowadays all are useful except PSN. PSN is useful, but there isnāt enough demand. Iād say light still leads, but cold and fire are closer behind because of sunders existence.
