Apparently "sticky conviction" wasn't fully fixed

Not sure what was the issue that they fixed in the last patch, but here’s a bug that I have:

  1. I play a paladin that has high level conviction aura (around level 25)
  2. I have some other aura active, for example, redemption
  3. I run into a boss monster that has conviction of its own
  4. Turn on my conviction. At this point i have no idea if my conviction affects the monster or not, but his conviction affects me. Not sure what’s the intended behavior here, but it’s not the point
  5. Either kill the monster with conviction OR run away from him
  6. Check your character sheet

Result: my character’s defense and resistances are still reduced as if he’s affected by enemy conviction. To get rid of this effect, I have to switch to another aura.

If the monsters conviction aura is above 25, this is normal as far as I know.

  1. it’s not (even uber meph is 20)
  2. it’s not normal any way, monster’s dead or out of range
