Anyone still unable to preload Beta version of the game?

Currently there is only the “Live” version of D2R being shown on my launcher, which cannot be installed.

After logging in and out the launcher multiple times, there is still no option to preload the Beta version of the game.

May I ask if anyone else is having the same problem?

Current beta download is the closed beta client I believe. People who have alpha access and more people invited will have a drop down over the grayed out install button to change to beta.

I’m able to select “beta” at the version selection (next to region selection), but can’t install the beta version by now. (11am CEST)

hmmm thats odd, I was able to patch right away. But I did still have the alpha client. So it patched it didnt do a fresh download.

I don’t even have that option to select “Beta” version yet. May be because you guys have the alpha client.

Meh! So it was a bad idea, to deinstall the alpha client. :-/
I had alpha invitation. So maybe your presumption is right, that’s atm only available for alpha participants.

I kept alpha downloaded, and opened it every week to just look at my characters I had played lol.

The longing of never playing those guys again :frowning:

Ha ha, looks like we just have to wait a little longer. Simply being able to download the game can get me excited at this stage lol.

Can’t install yet on Xbox, I’m assuming around 10 a.m. PST though. (To clarify, we were already allowed to download a 230mb file for beta when we first pre-ordered, but we can’t download the actual updated beta yet)

considering the last test you weren’t able to load the game until the morning it launched i’d assume the same this time around… who knows… /shrug

They officially stated, that it can already be downloaded today. The question is, when exactly this will be.
