Just got an update but cant find out what is was for.Just seeing of anyone else knew.
They probably nerfed the drop rate just a little bit more.

Itās possible that it was yet another small client update to add cross-link functionality with Diablo: Immortal like the last tiny patch back on May 23rd was. They just changed a ton of things in D:I so the other clients might have required updates to reflect those changes as well.

But see this person right here, in my opinion, is a no oneā¦ They are not a blizzard employee and are just speculating what it ācould have beenā.
The people running this game need to have a sub forum for updates that way people know what and why the game is downloading to their computer.

This is the most likely case I think. Patch released just as Diablo Immortal released, and last weeks 70 MB patch was also for adding DI friend display functionality.

So I found an eth Razors edge, it seems good maybe for a smiter or something? I was hoping for advice cause its -33% target defense and deadly strike and open wounds seems like its useful for something.

Eth razor edge is decent on Barb and Zealot, but its not the best.

If you dont even understand the basic mechanics of the characters in this game then why should anyone even take you seriously when you post anything at all about this game ?
salt aside, smiters dont usually use razors edge, you would do better with a gnasher till you get a grief or redeemer or earthshatter(legendary mallet). for helm you want guillaums or CoA, but Shako works fine too if you rather get the mf and health boost.
I used to pvp A LOT, and my smiters had a minimum of 5k life with cta BO at lvl 16 or 20(been a long time so I dont remember exactly the lvl).
my BVC on the other hand, now he had 11k health with his own bo(no bo helm, just good ol arreats or coa).
so yeah, smiters dont benefit from any +% dmg on a weapon, HOWEVER!! they DO recieve the +dmg from weapons. not that +10-20 crud, but the +77 damage kind of stuff(think earthshaker gives like +12 up to +30? pretty sure).
so if you cant get the runes for a grief, you can hopefully find a redeemer or earthshaker.
i think I am remembering the wrong nameā¦itās the legendary mallet, not schaefers tho. its the other unique legendary mallet. 183 str req though, so put on a coh or enigma for that str bonus.

-33% target def, and target def in general dont matter with smite.
Deadly strike does affect smite, in the same way it affects any melee attack.
smite is also really only good against knockback-immune bosses

Of the many smiter builds on the internet, i dont think any of them recommend an eth razors edge for a smiter.

What you want is called crushing blow for smite. Thats why smiters wear maras for the resistanceā¦ Otherwise every shield thumping turd on bnet would be using highlords.
