I wanna break down my cham runes into Jah+Ber anyone?
unfortunately cham is only worth same as vex. No way near the value of jah or ber.
Just out of curiousity, where did you get this idea of cham worth? Seeing a lot of people do this which mind-boggles me.
I’m sorry if i’m not used to with value and I just started this game 2 months ago and all i know is break down rules. I thought higher number runes worth more but It seems not.
AHhhh okay that makes sense now. You thought that maybe since Cham is made up of 2 Jahs that that is it’s worth. Gotcha. Thanks. Didn’t try to offend you, i was just genuinely curious.
The breakdown rules are roughly true up through Lo. But beyond that the rules break down based on supply/demand since lots of popular runewords use Ber and Jah and very few use Sur, Cham and Zod. Sur is barely worth more than Lo, Ber is actually worth more than Jah. Cham holds very little value and used to trade for about a Vex. I think Cham is worth a little more now since Blizzard announced new runewords are coming using Cham and Zod, but not a lot more.
Thanks for the info!!
I wish I can do that trade you want… I got 2 Cham since D2R LOL. ;(
Anyway, here are the Est rune current value:
Pul = Pul
Um = 2 Pul
Mal = 2 Um
Ist = 1 Mal 1 Um
Gul = 1,5 Ist
Vex = 3 Ist
Ohm = 6-7 Ist
Lo = 12-13 Ist
Sur = 15 Ist
Ber = 30 Ist
Jah = 24-26 Ist
Cham = 3-4 Ist
Zod = 7 Ist
So, 1 Ber can get me 2 Lo and 4 ist right?
That list is a bit outdated, almost everything Lo and below has increased by like 2 Ists or more
Just use purediablo forum for rune cost reference
i dont know if anyone cares, but the value of an item is what a person is willing to pay for it.
there are entire divisions of economics that study this and the semi-causal nature of things like supply and demand on price…
now: to answer the question of why a CHAM (relatively high end by the cube list) rune is not worth much: The runewords that use charm are relatively useless. Cham can ONLY be made into Zod. Zod can be used independantly to make something indesctructable… but that is a relatively uncommon use. Then theres the Eth Breath of the Dying… its used, but not in high demand. Cham suffers from a lack of demand… a severe lack of demand.
OP: ask for what u want and let people make offers, if it doesn’t sell, it’s obviously worth less than u think.
I had someone quote these prices to me about a couple 35 fcr spirits i was trying to sell and saying i was overasking, sold both at asking price like 3 days later… sometimes u gotta wait for that person who NEEDs the item.
That being said, the value list of high runes above reflects the average sell price of high runes over a period of time and is a very useful tool to approximate the current market.
